The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by Osaühing Eesti Klustik (registry code: 10126848) (address River 3, 10151 Tallinn) on 24.04.2017 for permission for the general geological exploration of the Bothnian Research Centre (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 12-2/17/5497) has been granted.
Authorisation to carry out general geological exploration is sought in the municipality of Halinga, Pärnu, on a state-owned property in the village of Pööravere, Halinga district 14 (cadastral Identifier 18802:003:0262), which is managed by the Ministry of the Environment and the Centre for the Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus of State Forests as an authorised authority. The area covered by the requested survey room is 61.16 ha. The purpose of the research shall be to search for mineral resources (sand, gravel) in the Pööravere exploration room, as well as to identify geological and mountain conditions. The exploration project envisages the construction of up to 30 wells and up to 10 exploration voids with a depth of up to 5 m; other planned ad hoc work: laboratory work, topographical surveying; hydrogeological experimental work: measuring water levels. The research is carried out by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER (registry code 11206437, address Männiku tee 104, 11216 Tallinn). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse permission for general geological exploration, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The draft decision granting or refusing permission for general geological exploration shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
