Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the APPLICATION for an environmental permit FOR the extraction of mineral resources submitted by INNATO (registry code: 10382793) (address: old Vana-Lõuna tn 39 39, city centre, Tallinn, Harju County, 10134) has been accepted.

Mining authorisation is sought for land owned by a private owner, ANTSU (cadastral mark 70201:002:0472) and pond (cadastral mark 70201:002:0421), in the municipality of Rägavere in Lääne-Viru. The area in respect of which registration card No 0411 is sought is a sandy deposit in the toy field. The mountain allocation applied for is known as the gymnastic quarry. the area covered by the mountain allocation and its catchment area is 13,19 ha. According to the application for mining authorisation, the active consumption of the excavation building gravel is 687 thousand m3, of which the extractable quantity is 650 thousand m3. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is requested to be 45 thousand m3. The mining company is Innato. Mineral resources are used in road and civil engineering. The mining permit is to be valid for a period of 15 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee address or at the postal address J.Kunderi 18, Rakvere.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
