Notice of initiation of a general geological exploration permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation of the general geological exploration project for the Jägala exploration room submitted by as TREV-2 Grupp (registry code: 10047362) (address Pärnu mnt 463, 10916 Tallinn) (registered in the Environment Agency's document management system 10.08.2017 under document number 12-1/17/9312) has been accepted.
The general geological exploration licence is requested in the municipality of Jõelähtme, Harju, in Jägala village, for the State-owned cadastral unit Anija, district 19 (cadastral title 24505:002:0115). The requested test room consists of two solvent units, the total area served by the test room being 135.71 ha. The purpose of the research is to establish the distribution of mineral resources (limestone), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the conditions of extraction. The test depth shall not exceed 20 m. other dedicated work shall be laboratory analyses, topographical measurements, water level measurements and, where appropriate, other test work. The research is carried out by AS TREV-2 Group (registry code 11402434, address Pärnu mnt 463, 10916 Tallinn). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 5 years.
The application for a general geological exploration licence and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (tel +372 674 4804, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to authorise or refuse authorisation for general geological exploration, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.
The preparation of a draft permit for general geological exploration shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
