Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the exploration room for Jägala III submitted by the OÜ of Mineral resources (registry code: 14212964) (address: Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Municipality of Jõelähtme, County Harju, 74201) on 18.09.2017 (registered under document management system 18.09.2017 No 12-1/17/10637 of the Environment Agency) has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in the municipality of Jõelähtme, Harju, in the village of Jägala, for the private cadastral parcel Tammiku (cadastral Identifier 24505:002:0031). The area covered by the requested survey room is 8.43 ha. The geological study shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities of exploiting and extracting the material (building limestone) present in the exploration room in Jägala III. This is a consumables survey which plans to build up up up to 30 wells and up to 8 exploration cavities. The research depth is up to 30 m. in addition, the study plans to carry out the following ad hoc work: water level measurements and, if necessary, other pilot work. The study is carried out by the Mineral resources OÜ (registry code 14212964, address Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Jõelähtme Municipality, Harju County, 74201).
The application for a geological survey permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency (Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn, põhja@keskkonnaamet.ee, 674 4804).
The application shall be digitally accessible from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/
until a decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting has been taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.
The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
