The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the Piirsalu exploration room submitted by the OÜ of Mineral resources (registry code: 14212964) (address: Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Jõelähtme Municipality, Harju County, 74201) (registered under document management system 07.12.2017 under document number 12-2/17/13632 of the Environment Agency) has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in the village Kose in Harju, County, for a state-owned cadastral division Piirsalu quarry (cadastritID 36302:001:0710) owned by the Republic of Estonia, managed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and authorised by the Road Administration. The area covered by the requested survey room is 3.92 ha. The geological survey shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities of exploiting and extracting the material (sand, gravel) present in the Piirsalu exploration room. This is a consumable stock survey, which plans to build up up up to 20 wells and up to 20 exploration cavities. The research depth is up to 20 m. in addition, the study plans to carry out the following ad-hoc work: laboratory tests, topogogodetic measurements. The study is carried out by the Mineral resources OÜ (registry code 14212964, address Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Jõelähtme Municipality, Harju County, 74201).
The application for authorisation to prospect and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (tel 674 4804, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address pohja@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.
The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
