Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the Mihkli II exploration room submitted on 04.11.2017 by E & A Transport OÜ (registry code: 12214433) (address: village of Piuga, Municipality of Võru, 65502 County of Võru) (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 12-1/17/13353) has been accepted.
The application for a geological survey is made for Vanasauna (Cadastral Identifier 33403:001:0225, new registration No 745006) on land owned by the applicant in the village Mihkel in the municipality of West Anna, Pärnu. The area covered by the requested survey room is 46.14 ha. The purpose of the study is to conduct a consumption inventory survey to determine the distribution, utility layer thickness, quality and extraction conditions of the mineral (dolostone) in order to assess the quantity of mineral resources as an active consumable stock for which mining permission could be sought. The study plans to build up up up to 18 wells with a depth of up to 15 m; other planned ad hoc work: laboratory work, topographic surveying. The survey is carried out by Mäebüroo Nord OÜ (registry code 11560452, address Pärnu mnt 232, 11314 Tallinn). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 5 years.
The application for authorisation to prospect and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (+372 680 7438, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.
The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
