Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that THE APPLICATION for AMENDMENT of the PERMIT for the extraction of the tarla doloivary Järvekalda tee 1 No L.MK.PM-201509 (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 08.01.2018 No 12-2/18/365) submitted by the stone carrier OÜ (registry code: 11200972) (address: LAKE Channel Road 1, Harkujärve village, Harku Municipality, 76902 Harju County) 08.01.2018 has been accepted. According to the application for amendment of the mining permit, the period of validity of the permit is to be extended by 10 years, i.e. until 08.12.2028.

Tartar doloivari quarry is located in Pärnu, on land owned by the State in the municipality of West Anna, as a quarry of tarta doloivel (cadastral mark 33403:001:0284), managed by the Ministry of the Environment and an authorised authority, the Maa-amet. The mountain allocation has an area of 5.57 ha and a surface area of 6.34 ha. As of 01.01.2018, the inventory of spare blocks related to the mountain allocation of an existing Delocarve quarry is as follows: the active consumable stock in block 1 (building doloivel) is 127,5 thousand m ³ and the active consumable stock in block 3 (aggregate doloivel) is 2,02 thousand m ³. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is 50 thousand m ³, which is used as a building fragmentation.

The request for amendment of the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (+372 680 7438, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until a decision is taken on the application, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the louna@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The Environment Agency shall further inform the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded of the preparation of a draft decision to modify or refuse to modify an authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources.
