Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the APPLICATION for authorisation to exploit the IG GRAVEL quarry submitted by OÜ Nurme (registry code: 11188001) (address: Nurme village, Tur Municipality, 85004 Pärnu County) 07.03.2018 (registered under document management system 08.03.2018 No 12-2/18/3389 of the Environment Agency) has been accepted.
The gravel quarry applied for is located in the village of Sigaste in Pärnu, the municipality of Saarde, on land owned by the applicant as silk (cadastral mark 71101:001:0076, new register part No 1791606). The requested mountain allocation for the Sigaste gravel quarry includes the active consumable stock of the building gravel in block 1 of the Sigse gravel deposit (registry card No 0956, building gravel as the basic stock). The mountain allocation applied for and its catchment area is 0.86 ha. This is a new mining allocation with the following minerals: the active consumption of the building gravel is 24 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 21 thousand m ³. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is requested to be 2 thousand m ³, the fields of use being road and general construction. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (+372 680 7438, info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The preparation of the draft decision granting or refusing the mining permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
