The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the Kikepera III exploration room submitted by Teesiht OÜ (registry code: 12635880) (address: Papsaare tee 5-7, village of Papsaare, 88317 Pärnu County) on 21.02.2018 (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 22.02.2018 No 12-2/18/2668) has been accepted.

The purpose of the study is to conduct a survey on mineral consumption in order to determine the distribution of mineral resources (gravel, sand), the thickness of the useful layer, the quality and the conditions of extraction. The studies plan to build up up to 30 exploration voids and up to 15 wells with a depth of up to 7 m; other planned ad hoc work: laboratory studies, topogogodetic measurements, water level measurements. The study is carried out by Maavarauuringud OÜ (registry code 14346587, address sand 41, 50303 Tartu). The period of validity applied for is 2 years.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
