Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for a wave III enquiry room submitted by Osaühing Hetkinvas (registration code: 11168665) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Haaberst District, Sõõru TN 11, 13516) has been accepted. The research room for Kaise III is located in the town of Pärnu, in the municipality of Lääanna, in the village Kanamardi, in the cadastral block Varbla, which belongs to the Republic of Estonia, in the town of Varbla, region 65 (cadastral mark 86302:003:0058). The area covered by the survey room is 9.56 ha. The proposed study aims to assess the distribution and quality of the sand used as an earth and to assess the mountainous conditions of extraction. The study plans to build up to 5 wells and up to 16 exploration wells. Research depth up to 9 m is further planned: water level measurement, sampling for steel composition, physico-mechanical properties, filtration characteristics, topo-geodetic measurement. The authorisation applied for shall be valid for a period of 2 years.

until the decision to grant or refuse a geological survey permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
