The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that, at the request of aktsiaselts Lihula Maaparandus (registry code: 10057610) (address Tallinna mnt 62a, 90303 Lihula), environmental permit No L.MK.PM-28419 for the extraction of mineral reserves from the Mustu-Nõmme range was amended and extended by 10 years, i.e. until 21.06.2030.

The mountain allocation of the black-Nõmme sandpasture is located in the municipality of Pärnu, in the municipality of West Anna, in Palatu, on land owned by the State, Mustunhem (cadastral identification 33402:002:0121), the management of which is the Ministry of the Environment and an authorised authority, the Maa-amet. The mountain allocation applied for is 8.20 ha and its catchment area is 9.95 ha. The average annual mineral extraction rate is 40 thousand m3, which is used in road construction and concrete mixes. Lihula Land improvement is designated as the mining company.

The mining authorisation was amended as follows:

1. The mining authorisation for the Mustu-Nõmme sand quarry No L.MK.PM-28419 WAS extended for 10 years, i.e. until 21.06.2030.
2. In point 6.1 of the permit, the active consumption of building sand was fixed at 227,0 thousand m ³ and the excavated reserves at 204 thousand m ³ (these figures are given on 31.03.2018).
