Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the Estonian Osaühing Eesti Killustik (registry code: 10126848) (address: 3.10151 Tallinn River) application for an environmental permit for the extraction of mineral resources from the Anelema IV doloival quarry 09.04.2018 (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency No 12-2/18/5455) has been granted.
The requested Anelema IV doloivari is located in the municipality of Pärnu, in the municipality of Pärnu, in the village of Anelema, on the State-owned title Paesoo (cadastritus 18803:002:0149), the management of which is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority of the State Forest Management Centre. The requested mountain allocation for the Anelema IV dolostone quarry includes the active consumables of the Anelema dolostone deposit (registry card 0047, basic stock of building doloivel) in block 17, which is partially covered. The mountain allocation applied for is 6.39 ha and its catchment area is 9.65 ha. This is a new mining allocation with the following minerals: the active consumption of building dolomite is 498 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 498 thousand m ³. The average annual rate of mineral extraction is requested to be 19 thousand m ³, the fields of use being road construction, general construction and the production of chippings. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 30 years.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (info@keskkonnaamet.ee, tel. 680 7438).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The preparation of the draft decision granting or refusing the mining permit shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
