The Saaremaa Vallavalitsus a notice pursuant to paragraph 77(6) of the planning Law (plans).

Saaremaa Vallavalitsus announces - Saaremaa County Council Decision No 1-3/96 of 27.09.2018 initiated a master plan and a strategic environmental impact assessment for Saaremaa County. The purpose of planning is to develop, in a sustainable and balanced manner, guiding principles and orientations for the spatial development of the entire territory of the municipality of Saaremaa. The planning area shall cover the entire administrative territory of the municipality of Saaremaa.
Under paragraph 33(1)(2) of the Law on environmental impact assessment and management systems, the preparation of a master plan must be subject to a strategic environmental assessment, the purpose of which is to clarify, assess and describe the environmental effects of the activities carried out in connection with the implementation of the master plan.

The decision to initiate the master plan and the Strategic environmental assessment (sea) can be consulted on the municipality's website at www.saaremaavald.ee and working days at the Vallavalitsus of Saaremaa, Tallinna tn 10 Kuressaare, from the date of adoption of the decision.
