Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).
The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for mineral resources submitted by OÜ J.Viru Markšeideribüroo (registry code: 11644539) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Central City district, Tartu mnt 84a-50, 10112) (hereinafter also referred to as the exploration authorisation) has been accepted.
The geological survey is requested in Harju County, Western Harju County, in the Paldiski Harju Peninsula, for state-owned properties, one (Northern) being located on the Kubja (cadastral trail 58001:001:0269; designated use for arable land) and the other (southern) on the land Tõnise (cadastral trait 58001:001:0269; designated use for commercial land). The area covered by the requested survey room is 114,75 ha. This is a consumables survey, which plans to build up up up to 40 wells and up to 15 exploration cavities. The research depth is up to 16 m. the resources under examination are limestone, which is intended to be used in general and road construction. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 5 years. The test room is called the Paldiski test room.
The application for authorisation to prospect and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (tel +372 5698 0504, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 TALLINN.
The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
