The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the Kõrgemäe II exploration room submitted by the OÜ of Mineral resources (registry code: 14212964) (address: Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Municipality of Jõelähtme, County Harju, 74201) (registered in the Environment Agency's document management system 02.10.2018 under document number 12-2/18/16080) has been accepted.

The geological survey is requested for the cadastral parcels Paunküla, 103 (cadastral title 14002:003:0175), and Paunküla, 2 (cadastral title 14002:003:0290), in the municipality of Anija, Harju, rural district, the management of state property is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority is the Centre for the Management of Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus. The area covered by the requested survey room is 19.73 ha. The geological survey shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities for exploiting and extracting the material (sand and gravel) present in Kõrgemäe II. This is a consumables survey, which plans to build up up up to 30 wells and up to 30 exploration cavities. The research depth shall not exceed 30 m. in addition, the study is intended to carry out the following ad hoc work: water level measurements and, where appropriate, other test work, laboratory tests, topogogodetic measurements. The study is carried out by the Mineral resources OÜ (registry code: 14212964; address Kuusiku tee 18-13, Loo alevik, Jõelähtme Municipality, Harju County, 74201). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 2 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
