The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).
The Environment Agency States that the request for modification and extension of mining permit No HARM-116 submitted by YIT Infra Eesti AS (registry code: 10114029) (address Harju County, Tallinn City, concrete 28, 11415) has been accepted (registered under document management system 14.09.2018 under number 12-2/18/10691-3 of the Environment Agency).
YIT Infra Eesti AS is seeking an extension of the mining deposit in the Punamäe Punamäe gravel basin and a 5-year extension of mining permit HARMON-116.
The gravel quarry of the Punamäe is located in the commune of Kos, Harju, in the State-owned cadastral division of the Punamäe (cadastral mark 36301:001:0333), managed by the Ministry of the Environment and an authorised authority, the Earth Authority. The mountain allocation has an area of 9.70 hectares and the service area of the mountain allocation is 12.69 hectares. As of 30.06.2018, within the limit of the mountain allocation applied for, the active consumption of the building gravel is 299.395 thousand m3, of which 262 thousand m3 are mined. The average annual mineral extraction rate is 66 thousand m3.
The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (tel 674 4804, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.
Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.
The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
