Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency reports that OÜ Relsiit Haldus (registry code: 12602017) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Central City district, Toompuiestee 21, 10137) submitted an application for authorisation to extract mineral resources from the sandy quarry of Tudulinna II. The requested Tudulinna II sand quarry is located in Ida-Viru rural municipality of Alutagus on the applicant's land site South (cadastral code 81501:001:0185). The mountain deposit applied for is situated in the square Mardine of Tudulinna (the sand quarry of Tudulinna II applied for by registration card No 0462 includes in its entirety blocks 5, 7, 15 and 16 of the square Mardines of Tudulinna and in part blocks 4, 6 and 8.

The mountain deposit of the Tudulinna II pasture has an area of 4.89 ha and the service area of the mountain deposit is 5.58 ha. As of 01.09.2018, the active consumption stock of the building gravel associated with the mining allocation is 0,410 thousand m ³ and the excavated stock is 0,410 thousand m ³, the active consumption stock of the building sand is 99,850 thousand m ³ and the excavated stock is 95,850 thousand m ³ and the active consumption of the aggregate sand is 66,546 thousand m ³ and the excavated stock is 59,546 thousand m ³. The average annual extraction capacity is 12 thousand m ³. Mineral resources are used in construction and construction of roads. The authorisation is requested for a period of 15 years.

The decision to initiate the procedure for applications for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest office of the Environment Agency (tel 776 2419, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
