Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to exploit the sandy quarry of a plot of land (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency under number 12-2/18/17565) submitted by Osaühing Eesti Klustik (registry code: 10126848) (address: Jõgeva County, Põltsamaa County, Rõstla village, Rõstla quarry, 48022) has been accepted.

The requested mountain allocation for the sandy quarry is located in the State-owned property of the municipality of Häädemeeste, Pärnu, Orarie Region 2 (register part No 7114150, cadastral identification No 21302:002:0108), the management of State property of which is the Ministry of the Environment and the authorised authority of the State Forest Management Centre.

The mountain allocation applied for is 8.08 ha and its catchment area 11.19 ha. According to the mining authorisation applied for, on 10.10.2018, the amount of active consumable stock of building sand from the quarry of sandy is 88 thousand m ³ and the stock to be extracted is 84 thousand m ³. The average annual mining rate applied for is 8 thousand m ³, the fields of use of which are the preparation of building blends and road and civil engineering works. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 10 years.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency (tel 674 4804, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
