The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that THE APPLICATION of the LIMITED COMPANY STARHILL (registry code: 10822453) (address Harju County, Tallinn, districts of Lasnamäe, Peterburi tee 34, 11415) to amend Mineral Mining permit HARM-129 and HARM-142 has been accepted. OSAÜHING STARHILL seeks TO merge the Maardu limestone quarry with the Maardu II limestone quarry licences HARM-129 (valid until 22.12.2019) and HARM-142 (valid until 13.11.2019), to extend the period of validity, to change the stock to be extracted and to extend the mining allocation to the Trust Register.

The mountain allocation applied for is situated, in the municipality of Jõelähtme, Harju, in the village of Maardu, on two plots of solvents with a total surface area of 27.64 ha and a surface area of catchment area of 50.76 ha, situated in cadastral parcels 24501:001:0756 southern rural pasture (90% arable land, 10% mining land) and 24504:003:0790 skirt (arable land). The extension of the period of validity of the permit shall be requested for a period of 5 years.

The request for amendment of the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application shall be digitally accessible in the https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/ system of the Environment Agency

until the decision to grant or refuse authorisation is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Central Economic Office in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
