Notice of initiation of a prospecting permit procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to Silikaat for the goodnik XVIII exploration room submitted by as silicate (registry code: 10022296) (address Silikaltsiidi tn 8, Tallinn, 11216 Harju County) (registered under document management system of the Environment Agency 28.02.2019 as letter No 12-2/19/205) has been accepted.

The geological survey is requested in Harju County, Tallinn, for the private cadastral parcel Silikaltsiidi tn 8 (cadastral parcel: 78404:405:4820, register part: 11684201) and for the State-owned cadastral parcels Silikaltsiidi tn 21 (cadastral parcel: 78401:101:4468) and Silikaltsiidi tn 26 (cadastral parcel: 87404:405:5120, register department: 20003a Ministry of the Autonomy. The area covered by the requested survey room is 44.23 ha. The geological survey shall be carried out in order to clarify the possibilities of exploiting and extracting the mineral resources (construction and stuffing sand) present in the survey room. This is a consumable stock survey which plans to build up up up to 35 wells. The research depth is up to 15 m. in addition, the study plans to carry out the following ad hoc work: water level measurements, determination of the steel composition of the material and of the filtration module, topographic measurements. The survey is carried out by OÜ Inseneribüroo STEIGER (registry code: 11206437, address: Männiku tee 104, Tallinn, 11216 Harju County). The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 4 years.

The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for a prospecting operation, any person shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
