Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of the mud or gravel quarry submitted by Osaühing MetsPuu (registry code: 11236792) (address: Viru-Kabala, Viru-Kabala village, Rägavere vald, Western Viru VI, 46701) has been accepted.

Authorisation to exploit mineral resources is sought in the municipality of Tapa, West Viru, on the land owned by the applicant in the village of Kõrõrõrõrõrõrõrküla, Tondi (CF. 40001:003:0065). There is a malting gravel deposit in the area applied for (registry card No 0506).

The requested mountain allocation is called maleva or gravel quarry. the area of the mountain VI and the service area of the mountain allocation are 7.99 ha. According to the authorisation for the extraction of mineral resources, the active consumption of the excavation building gravel is 284 thousand m ³ and the extracted stock is 270,9 thousand m ³. The maximum annual mining rate is proposed to be 20 thousand m ³. Mineral resources are used in a building gravel. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for shall be 15 years.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application shall be digitally accessible in the Environment Agency's document management system http://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until the decision on the granting of the mining permit is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to an e-mail address at the info@keskkonnaamet.ee address or postal address Tallinn 22, Kuressaare, the municipality of Saaremaa, the island region 93819.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
