The Environment Agency publishes a notice pursuant to paragraph 30(2) of the Land Law (MaaPS).

The Environment Agency States that the application for authorisation to prospect for the Uikala exploration room submitted by the OÜ of Mineral resources (registry code: 14212964) (address Harju County, Jõelähtme Municipality, Loo Aevik, Kuusiku Tea 18-13, 74201) has been accepted.

Authorisation to prospect for the Uikala exploration room is sought for the State-owned cadastral parcels Kohtla district 34 (cadastral mark 80201:001:0340) and Kohtla district 131 (cadastral mark 80201:001:0585) in the municipality of Toila, eastern Viru.

The area covered by the requested survey room is 7.07 ha. The purpose of the study is to find a resource of the quality corresponding to the building limestone. The study plans to build up up to 10 wells with a test depth of up to 20 m. a geological survey is to be authorised for a period of 2 years.

The application for authorisation to prospect and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest office of the Environment Agency (tel 776 2419, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/.

Until such time as a decision is taken to grant or refuse a permit for prospecting, any person shall have the right to submit to the Environment Agency reasoned proposals and objections to the application. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision to grant or refuse authorisation for prospecting shall be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
