Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for modification of the mining permit for the deposit of a Kruusa quarry in the Padise Grupp OÜ (registry code: 10378604) (address Harju County, Western Harju Municipality, Padis village, monastery, 76001), seeking an extension of the mining permit for 10 years, has been accepted.

The Kruusa's quarry is situated in Harju County, in the municipality of Western Harju, in the village of Audeväli, on the Kruusa's land (cadastral references 56202:002:0082 and 56202:002:0083), owned by Padise Grupp OÜ.

The mountain allocation of the Kruusa quarry is 3.8 ha and the service area of the mountain allocation is 4.11 ha. As of 30.06.2019, the active consumption of the building gravel associated with the mountain allocation was 22,234 thousand m ³ and the active consumption of the building sand was 57,67 thousand m ³. The purpose of the mineral resource is construction, road construction and renovation. The period of validity of the authorisation applied for is 20.05.2030.

The decision to initiate the procedure for applications for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.

until a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for mining and quarrying, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee, 674 4803, or Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
