Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency reports that Mainer OÜ (registry code: 14267391) (address Harju County, Tallinn, Mustamäe County, Mustamäe tee 161-4, 12913) submitted an application for a mining permit for the sandy quarry.

The winning sand quarry applied for is located in the municipality of Häädemeeste in Pärnu in the village of winning in the sandy field (registry card No 0970). The mountain allocation and its catchment area are located on the land of Pulsti (cadastral code 21301:002:0078), Tolsus (cadastral code 21301:002:0020) and Tolkuse (cadastral code 21401:001:0006).

The mountain allocation applied for is 3.40 ha and its catchment area is 4.45 ha. Within the limit of the mountain allocation applied for, the active consumption of mineral aggregate sand is 74 thousand m ³, of which the extracted stock is 45 thousand m ³. Mineral uses include construction and road construction. Mainer OÜ is designated as the mining operator. The mining permit applied for is valid for a period of 8 years.

The decision to initiate the mineral extraction authorisation procedure and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest office of the Environment Agency (tel 435 5621, e-mail info@keskkonnaamet.ee).
The application is made available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until a decision is taken to grant or refuse authorisation for mining and quarrying, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Paala tee 4, 71014 iljandi.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
