Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that THE application for mining authorisation submitted by TENNO HEINLA (personal identification No 36811130293) (address: haraka tn 2, Kohila alev, 79801, Commune Kohila, Raplamaa) was accepted.

Authorisation to exploit the mineral resources of the gravel quarry of the cross-Grand village is sought in the village of the cross-Grand village in the Regione Märjamaa of Rapla in the gravel deposit of the cross-Grand village (registry card No 0972) in the private cadastral parcels Karuka (cadastral mark 50301:001:0059) and Karuka-Ristikivi (cadastral mark 50301:001:0060).

The area covered by the mountain deposit for the gravel of the cross-Grand village applied for is 13.94 ha and the area covered by the mountain deposit is 13.94 ha. The extracted mineral is, according to the request, a building gravel and its intended use is the construction, repair and construction of roads. The amount of active consumption of the building gravel of a mining deposit is 207 thousand m3 and the amount of reserves to be extracted is 202 thousand m3. According to the application, the average annual extraction rate is 14 thousand m3. Authorisation to exploit mineral resources is sought for a period of 15 years.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the Office of the Environment Agency Rapla (Tallinna mnt 14, PK 5, 79513, Rapla; info@keskkonnaamet.ee; 56885603).
The application shall be digitally accessible in the public document Register of the Environment Agency https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/

until the decision to grant or refuse authorisation has been taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the application to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the info@keskkonnaamet.ee e-mail address or to the postal address Tallinna mnt 14, PK 5, 79513, Rapla.

The preparation of the draft mining permit decision will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
