Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for Padise of the permit number HARMON-037 for the extraction of the limestone quarry of the padise group OÜ (registry code: 10378604) (address Harju County, Wilaya County, Padise village, monastery, 76001) has been accepted.

The Sub-limestone quarry authorisation number HARMON-037 is valid until 03.04.2020. During the period of validity of the permit, the entire stock has not been exhausted, which is why the permit to exploit Padise Grupp OÜ is to be extended by 10 years.

The limestone quarry is located in Harju County in the village of Padis in the village of Western Harju on the land of Paemurru in the municipality of Western Harju (cadastral mark 56202:001:0740).

The size of the mountain deposit in the limestone quarry is 0.65 ha and the size of the service area in the mountain quarry is 1.04 ha. As of 31.03.2019, the active consumption of building limestone associated with the mountain allocation is 6,314 thousand m ³. The use of the mineral resource is rehabilitation and construction works. The mining is done by the Padise Grupp OÜ. The last marker measurement was carried out on 21.01.2019.

The application for authorisation to exploit mineral resources and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application shall be digitally accessible in the https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee/ system of the Environment Agency

until the decision to grant or refuse authorisation is taken, everyone shall have the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft decision amending the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the Official Gazette Ametlikud Teadaanded.
