Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request submitted by Osaühing C.B.A. (registry code: 10495273) (address Tooma tee 27 27, Gännik village, Freistaat Sachu, 75511 Harju County) for Liivalaia and extension of the mining permit for sandy quarry No KMIN-099 for sandy quarry III has been accepted.

The requested Liivalaia quarry of sandy III is located in the village of Männik in Harju County, Saxu, Tallinn-Saku sandpasture. The mountain allocation and its catchment area are located on the State-owned cadastral parcel of a gamble exercise pitch (cadastral identification: 71801:001:0982). The mountain allocation is 10,00 ha and the service area for the mountain allocation is 10,81 ha.

The OSAÜHING C.B.A. is seeking an extension to the mineral blocks of the Liivalaia deposit of the sandy quarry of sandy III at, 143 at, 144 at and 135 at, in order to prevent the emergence of economically unfeasible ice blocks. For the sake of completeness, the application seeks to bring the boundaries of the mountain allocation into line with the field occupied by the plots of land and the boundaries of the mountain allocation applied for. In addition, extension of mining permit No KMIN-099 is requested for 15 years, i.e. until 05.09.2038.

until the decision to modify the mining permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, 11216 Tallinn.

The draft amendment to the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
