Notice of initiation of the mining authorisation procedure

The Environment Agency publishes a notice under paragraph 47(2) of the General Law on the Environment (KeÜS).

The Environment Agency States that the request for amendment and extension of SEL II PEAT production permit No HRAM-026 (l.mk.ha-169384) submitted by the public limited company AHTOL (registry code: 10235448) (ADDRESS Raba tee II, GOODEVAHE village, Rae vald, 75322 Harju COUNTY) has been accepted.

The SEL II cod production area applied for is located in the Pening security station in the village of Suuresta, Rae, Harju County (registry card No 236). The mountain allocation and its catchment area are located in the State-owned cadastral parcels of the SEL peat (cadastral identification: 65303:003:0220) and the Paunküla district of 463 (cadastral identification: 65303:003:0787) and in two private areas of the Väike-Tammiku (cadastral identification: 65303:003:0643) and the central Tammik (cadastral identification: 65303:003:0644).

The adjusted area of the mountain allocation applied for is 125,84 ha and its catchment area is 128,33 ha. According to the Mineral Mining authorisation, the active consumption of the low-sloping peat in the Mining reserve is 179 thousand t and the active consumption of well-decomposed peat is 663 thousand t and the low-sloping peat is 178 thousand t and the highly decomposition peat is 624 thousand t. the maximum annual mining rate is requested to be 10 thousand. the exploitation of mineral resources is horticulture and energy. Extension of 30 years OF mining permit No HRAM-026 (L.M.HA-169384) is requested.

The request for amendment of the mining permit and other relevant documents can be consulted at the nearest Office of the Environment Agency.
The application is available digitally from the Register of documents of the Environment Agency at https://dhs-ADR-kea.envir.ee

until the decision to modify the mining permit is taken, everyone has the right to submit reasoned proposals and objections to the Environment Agency. Proposals and objections may be submitted orally or in writing to the e-mail address info@keskkonnaamet.ee or to the postal address Viljandi mnt 16, Tallinn, 11216 Harju County.

The draft amendment to the mining permit will be further notified by the Environment Agency in the official publication Ametlikud Teadaanded.
